SES Website

The SES is a volunteer emergency service and is now recruiting. All training is provided and no experience is necessary, you will learn a lot of diverse skills for emergencies which are transferable to life outside of the SES.

The Melton SES responds to a range of emergencies including domestic rescue, floods, storms, searches for missing people and assisting other emergency services. This includes providing support to Victoria Police Ambulance Victoria, the CFA and Fire Rescue Victoria.

We cover most of the City of Melton area from west of the Melton township to Burnside and Taylors Hill in the east and from south of Eynesbury to north of Toolern Vale. SES volunteers can be deployed to other areas of the state as required.

There is a role for everyone from operational roles to support roles such as admin. Our unit is made up of people from all walks of life including students, full time workers, retirees and others.
