Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services is a not for profit
organisation which has been delivering a range of services for people in
the outer western suburbs of Melbourne since 1989. As both a Learn Local
provider and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Djerriwarrh offers
both pre accredited and accredited training courses from a range of
training packages and curriculums. Djerriwarrh also delivers employment
and youth service programs, including ParentsNext, funded by state and federal governments.
Djerriwarh operates principally from sites in Melton and Sunshine. The
Melton site is a Community House which is a part of the Melton Council
cluster and a member of Neighbourhood Houses Victoria.
Djerriwarrh has been delivering federally funded language, literacy and
numeracy training for jobseekers since 2001, first as Language Literacy
and Numeracy Program (LLNP) and most recently as Skills for Education
and Employment (SEE). In July 2017 Djerriwarrh began delivering the
Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP).
