Senior secondary school students can do a VET subject as part of their VCE or VCAL. Doing a VET course is a great way to help you start your career journey, whilst you are still at school. VET programs are nationally recognised qualifications and they can help you to pathway into further study at TAFE or University, into work as an apprentice or trainee.
Students from the WEC nine secondary schools have a choice of seventeen (17) VET programs, which are delivered across five of our schools. Four (4) have industry specific Trade Training Centres with state- of-the-art facilities to deliver Building and Construction, Electrotechnology (Electrical), Engineering and Salon Assistant (Hairdressing).
